The bootleg DVD is not really a bad thing. I doubt it will have a negative effect on the films. I'm flattered that someone would want to bootleg my film. Today I was offered a copy of Mr Bean On Holiday in a pub in Brixton. Piracy is everywhere and your film could end up in the wrong hands in any festival you send it to. I'll be more cautious with my next film but it's been fun being apart of such a scandal. For all we know millions of people could be enjoying our films in India and in 5 years time could be our biggest audience.

re: Pumelo fest - I've also been emailing one of the Pumelo "Winners" and he says he hasn't heard from the fest organizers either. I emailed them and asked when pictures or video of the festival might be posted on the Internet. They emailed me back saying they would be posted in the next couple days...that was almost 3 weeks ago. Sounds like we might all have films on a bootleg DVD somewhere in India. :)
