The Unbroken Circle wins Columbine Award @ Moondance!

On Sunday, June 11, 2006, The Unbroken Circle was awarded the Columbine Award for Short Fim, at the Moondance International Film Festival.
MOONDANCE COLUMBINE AWARD
The Columbine category is not about films and written works with no violence in them; it's for films and written works which are about finding or attempting to find alternatives to violent conflict resolution showing why violence used to solve conflicts is not effective and is, in fact, counter-productive and inhumane.
Previous Columbine Award winners had had their scripts purchased and optioned for various productions.
Writer/Dircetor of The Unbroken Circle, John C. Ludwig was there to accept the award.
The cast and crew are humbled and proud to have won this award.

Last night we heard the great news that The Unbroken Circle is an Official Selection of The Youngstown Area Jewish Film Festival, in Youngstown, Ohio (home of the Warner Brothers). This is great for us as our film definitely is a niche film. The festival is in its 4th year and is part of the Youngstown State University's Holocaust & Judaic Studies program. This year's festival will be held from Sept 9 - 16.
