This is particularly encouraging for me because it's likely that someone from Cinemarosa saw the film when we debuted at NewFest, the New York LGBT Film Festival earlier this month and saw the crowd's positive reaction, or at least heard good feedback about it from someone who attended the festival. Because as we all know, it's not just about making a good film, it's about making a good film that people like and then having them spread the word.
Plus, this would give me an excuse to visit New York again! See you there!

GUEST HOUSE FILMS LLC ANNOUNCES SECOND FEATURE FILM
Romantic Drama BACK SOON Explores Enduring Nature of True Love
LOS ANGELES, August 5, 2006 -- Guest House Films LLC, an independent motion picture production company, proudly announces the launch of preproduction on the company's second feature, Back Soon. Written and directed by Rob Williams, the gay romantic drama reunites many of the creative talents that made Long-Term Relationship, the first Guest House Films production, such a success on the film festival circuit.
Back Soon follows the relationship between Logan and Gil, two men who find themselves inexplicably drawn together despite their disparate backgrounds. However, their bond is soon threatened by Gil's mysterious past and a startling revelation about their connection.
Principal photography is scheduled to take place in October 2006 in the greater Los Angeles area. The film is being produced by Rob Williams and Rodney Johnson and co-produced by Matthew Montgomery.
Set to star in Back Soon are Windham Beacham (Porcelain), Matthew Montgomery (Journeyman; Socket; Gone, But Not Forgotten), Artie O'Daly ("Strong Medicine") and Bret Wolfe (Wet Palms), all of whom appeared in Long-Term Relationship. Scheduled to join the company of actors is Maggie Eilertson, Deven Green and Kelly Keaton.
"Audience reaction to Long-Term Relationship has been incredible, far exceeding my expectations, and with that has come a strong interest in our next project. With Back Soon, we will continue our company's dedication to creating unique gay-themed films by exploring the undeniable and unending power of true love," said Williams.
To date, Long-Term Relationship has played in or been selected by a wide range of film festivals around the world, including NewFest, the New York LGBT Film Festival; Rhode Island International Film Festival; OutFlix Memphis; North Carolina Gay & Lesbian Film Festival; Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival; Night Gallery Film Festival taking place in Alaska, Oregon, Arizona and New Zealand; and Verzaubert International Queer Film Festival in Germany. Additional festivals will be announced soon.
More information can be found on the Guest House Films web site, www.GuestHouseFilms.com.
