Big weekend for X 3

This weekend showed everyone, if your movie is good and if you promote it right it will be a block buster. 120 Mill for a 4 day weekend !!
They may have said this will be the last one but with numbers like that i don't see that happening, it may take a couple of years. I see them re-tooling the actors then coming up with a new charc then bam X 4 the new Gen........
I see X 3 hitting about 225 Mill.....

Da Vinci is going to be the next Summer Bomb

The fact that the book sold over 90 million copies and the controversy that it has created made Ron Howard feel like making a movie. The fact that the book deprives the reader of the having a brain and creates it’s own virtual reality makes one think this movie in some twisted way is slapping the Passion of the Christ goers in the face. This could be how Hollywood says you stupid and dumb people who gave all your money to Gibson how foolish because here is what you really believe. The critics are unsure of the movies and yet the press is giddy with glee that the Catholic Church is denouncing the it. The only problem I see is this bomb of a movie is going to bring in more money because of the so-called Boycott, i.e. Jesus Christ Super Star. If the church had just shut up and not said anything the critics would have killed this movie before it ever left the Cannes. I say it is going to not even equal M I 3 except the Boycott is going to create a little “wonder why” money.

Kewl bit, crazy humor and a few laughs. I did think the laugh track was a bit too much but over all a good skit.

Da Vinci code is going to do less than M I 3.
I don't think even Hanks can save this one.
I say Frist week, even Holiday weekend, is going to be 64 Million.
Now let's wait and see.......
