Hello, to my creative genius, film addicted friends. Here's a tid-bit about O.G. Mike (ask someone what O.G. stands for...I'll never tell). I'm a proud American of Italian descent, born in Brooklyn, N.Y. I am a writer, actor, sculptor, painter, disabled U.S. Marine(with six years of service and too much combat activity for a man to bear). After retiring from business I attended college for the first time, continuing to achieve my Master's degree in creative writing from New York University. This is where my life has begun anew. My writing(published, plagiarized, sold, given, award winning, blah, blah, blah) is primarily about the New York Mob, of which I have a great deal of "inside" knowledge. I tell it all, from the most wonderful and decent people I have known, who make their living through the many ways of Organized Crime, to the most savage of cold blooded murderers, whom I have also known. In life, there are fine lines which separate the person we "allow" people to see, and the person we truly are. My writing attempts to cross those lines, and to criss-cross the lives of my characters, in and out of the real world. The best thing for me? I call everything "FICTION" and I can't go to jail. How cool is that? For the past several years, I have been involved with the horror/slasher genre, and seem to have more takers than I have scripts...too bad indies have no money. I make films with my "drop dead gorgeous" filmmaker nephew, Gregg Cerenzio, (gregg@cerenzio.com) and produce them, as well. I shall enjoy your works and I look forward to making friends and exhibiting my films. I accept your constructive criticism and appreciate suggestions. Oh, yeah, if you have questions, go ahead and ask. I'll be as honest as I possibly can be...but remember what the CIA guy said, "If I tell you, I'll have to kill you." THAT'S A JOKE!!! I'M KIDDING!!! REALLY, I'M KIDDING AROUND!!! O.K.?

Si` Bella,
Born and raised in "broccolino" and now I live in the deserts of Arizona.
It's beautiful here and the people are very simple, very kind and too damn sweet for my tastes. I joke about that...the people are truly very nice.
However, I can't get a real canolli anywhere in the whole state, and I love my canolli, signorina. I make my own when I have time, and eat them sparingly.
I must apologize for taking so long to return your greeting, but I was hospitalized for a while. I had been scheduled for a procedure to be done to my "worn out," heart. It was to be an outpatient stay for less than one day. However, they found some very difficult problems and I remained there for five days. What they did to me was nothing less than science fiction, so I won't even try to explain it. All I know is they fixed everything and when I heal, I will be as good as I was twenty years ago. No more stunts or fights, but I'm not 18 anymore, so that's that. Unfortunately, I am missing out on a starring role in a feature film by an indie company that actually has some money. Mamma, mia!!! A paying job and I have to turn it down. Oh, yes, the part was an Old Mob boss from Brooklyn...DUH??? What acting was I doing?
At least I'll be around for future work, and to do my writing, which is what I have always loved. Please dear, francesca, keep in touch with "zio Mike" and I will do the same. I love Italia and I must return to see Fontana di Trevi once again...at least once again. When I do, we will have dinner (of course, bring your boyfriend, or husband...I'll bring my wife...don't worry).
You are charming, beautiful and talented. I look forward to hearing from you.
