ASHEVILLE — Award winners for the fourth annual Asheville Film Festival were announced Saturday night.
In competition this year were 13 films shot in North Carolina, including six shot by Western North Carolina residents.
There’s still time to get in on the festival action, as it winds down tonight with a movie and a 6:30 reception at the Fine Arts Theatre on Biltmore Avenue.
All tickets are sold through the Pack Place box office on Pack Square. Call 257-4500.
Winners
Feature film: “Ten ’til Noon”.
Feature film runner-up: “Apart from That”.
Documentary film: “Wetlands Preserved: The Story of An Activist Rock Club”.
Documentary film runner-up (tie): “Liberty Street: Alive at Ground Zero”.
Documentary film runner-up (tie): “Appalachia: The Endless Forest”.
Short film: “Escape”.
Short film runner-up: “Untouched”.
