Thank you for visiting. "Brought Me This Far" is based upon the life of Catherine Wyatt Morley, an African American mother, who became infected with HIV through her husband. It tells of her personal and professional tragedies and triumphs while living with this disease.
I hope that you take the time to visit, look at the stills, and leave a message.
My goal for this project is to get it viewed by as many people as possible, and to hopefully educate people, especially African Americans about the dangers of unprotected sex and STDs. If it can happen to a married woman, it can happen to anyone.

Seems like all of those sleepless nights are getting ready to pay off. I've finally wrapped production on my movie and my trailer is almost done. It is amazing how you can edit down 110 minutes to 1.5 minutes. My original trailer was 3 minutes, and I spent about an hour deciding on which scenes to cut down and rearrange. I picked a good week to stop drinking! (LOL)

I've been having dreams on how to set up my trailer. So I am going to give it a shot today. Next, I need to find out how to upload it to WAB. I've been trying to see some of the other videos clips out here, but have been unsuccessful. So anyone with tips on viewing the videos, please let me know. This is my first movie and it has really been a learning experience.

OK, I'm new to this blogging stuff. Just finished editing my movie and looking for some folks to share it with, get some tips. Hey, I am hoping to get it into a couple of good film fests. I won't lie, I hope to make some money with this project, but I hope to educate the masses. See, it's about the HIV/AIDS pandemic and African American women. After doing much research on this, I was driven to tell the story of a friend that has AIDS. Damn near went broke doing it, but now that it is done...YES!!!
Alrighy then, now is the time to get some sleep. Talk to you later.
