Welcome to Det-O-Nate Productions, a truly independent movie production company – in fact how much more independent can you get than us two geeky film obsessed blokes? Probably not much if you’re to be honest.
It all started back in 2004 when after watching several so-called ‘Hollywood big budget box office blockbusters' we came up with the crazy idea that if they could do it, why couldn't we?
And so with pen in hand we began writing. We wrote down ideas, scribbled rude pictures, drank lots of beer – it all helped towards shaping our very first release entitled “What The…?”
It’s a simple story of one man’s drunken struggle to keep his bodily functions in check – hey, maybe all that beer drinking we did paid off after all !!
