Hello, my name is Carlo Ledesma and I am a filmmaker currently based in Sydney Australia. I have directed a number of short films, some of which have begun their invasion into several film festivals. As goes the cliche, the goal is to direct my own feature and thankfully, I have finally taken steps towards that.

Film Production Blog "thehaircut"
Hello, and welcome to my Haircut.

The Haircut was made with a few things in mind. I wanted to tell a story of two lost people who find solace (albeit momentarily) in one another. The film is basically about those encounters we have with random people we meet and never see again, yet for a brief moment, they have done something for us and us for them.
So far The Haircut has screened at Sony Tropfest's Best Of The Rest, the 2006 In The Bin Short Film Festival, and is soon to screen at the Director's Choice Night at the Canberra Short Film Festival, among others.
There's been a renewed interest in the film, as evidenced by two major wins at the Bondi Short Film Festival (Best Music), and Best Short Film awarded by the Mini Movie International Channel at the Short Film Corner at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
