"La Victime 1 / The Victim 1" is in consideration. We thank everybody who kept encouraging us. From Africa with nothing consistant in hands it was like David versus Goliath. But, you friends, you made us believe in ourselves with your words. This is the first Congolese indie in the history and the starting point of a congolese movie revolution. We have managed to make a DVD for the "La Victime 1"/The Victim1". So, I'm hoping to get a kind of boost from you my freinds in USA by selling some copies over there, because, I cannot sell in Africa. But, there is an opportunity to organize a big market in the Democratic Republic of Congo if you're willing to help me do so for all of us. We're to finish the making of the movie the "New Boss" after our computer broke down earlier this year. It's a call for help. Tina.

WE have enounter many problems with our PC to complete the writing of English Subtitles. Is it possible to send the Master Copy of the Movie and the English Translation of Dialogue? If someone wants to helps us write it.

I didn't mean to pass myself off as a Frenchman. Only my Surname is French. I used a language translator on the web to send you my message in French hoping to make you feel more at home and let you know that I support French films on WAB. You ask in your blog if the WAB community really looks out for one another. One of my comments on WAB may have prompted your question. Not sure. I have warned a number of members about the Great Savio from Pumelo and encouraged them to read his rants on the message boards after having been exposed for what he is really is. I'll let you judge for yourself. That having been said, I have found the WAB members to be helpful, insightful, encouraging, abundantly talented and a real treasure. Hope you come to feel the same. Re: lack of French films on WAB, I can only say that I am of the opinion that the French have a special talent for filmmaking and I join you in hoping to see more French Indies on this site.

Hello Tinavidy, yes films from Africa our about the country are more than open to be submitted to the Renderyard Film Festival we had some great animations from South Africa last year and always look forward to new work from any where in the world. Hi!

We've manged to submit the "La Victime 1" at the Beverly Hills Fine Arts Industry Showcase and the movie is in consideration. We're not quiet sure with the tehcnic, sound, row actors and lights being the problems, but we're confident to our story that it's the first Congolosese indie. We're waitting on the 28th for the result from the Festival. At least, we've tried our best to reach there. We're are still carring with the "Le Nouveau Patron". We must have less problems as we're getting more experience in the Post Production. Thanks to Dstrauss and Jacques for the words of encouragments on the blogs.
It made us to look forward and forget our past failures.

If we need to start a film festival in Congo. We need just to hire venues and to arrange with popular musicians who can attrack people and entries for trillers and love stories doubbled in French. We need also to hire a local TV for advertisement.

There is any indie filmaker in Congo at this time. I'm quite the first one to try. But, there are some venues in the Capital City Kinshasa, like "Vévé Centre" and other where we can sreen our movies. We can build big tents in a stadium, it can work. I'm re-editiong "La Victime 1", because in Congo, they want at leat 60 min. movies, and in French. You support if the condition to succeed. Entertainement is big in Congo, but no industry for that. I'll send the original copy to you very soon.

Tinavidy, How many indie filmmakers are there in the Congo RDC, Africa near you? What are the venues you might be able to screen your film? Let's think through some things together and see what the solutions are. We will also be offering DVD on demand duplication, what I would suggest you do is send us your original once we officially open that system and try to sell it to an audience outside of the congo. We realize because of your location in Africa it may be more difficult or take longer, but doesn't mean that it won't happen, so, just know you have support over here. -D
