Did you see any of these films yet? ORIGINS OF YOGA? NAKED IN ASHES? Tell us about it, please. We'd like to hear what your impression was.
Although, I work for Paradise Filmworks, I did not have anything to do with the making of any of Paula's incredible films.
Being a Yoga Teacher, you would think you know all about Yoga, the Yogis of India and the true meaning of Yoga. Well, I thought I had a pretty good idea, and I still think I did... But, what I did not realize until I saw Origins Of Yoga, is that we are worrying way too much about everything and at all times. When I heard one of the Yogis say that he has no problems or worries, it raised my awareness to the fact that it's really up to us what we make out of life. Though, we are pretty weak when it comes to discipline, I am a firm believer that if we'd all try just a little bit every day, we would be able to get stronger and stronger and it would lift some worries off of our shoulders. This does not mean that you have to stand upright for a number of years, but allowing yourself to let go of something little, maybe something only you know about, will help you to appreciate more of the not so important things, and it will help you to worry a little less and put a whole new perspective on life.
I have such great respect for the way how these Yogis' live their lives with no worries, with great discipline, and super strong will power....yet they also enjoy today's technology and they manage to implement it into their unique lifestyle and all that without any worries.
I am very greatful that I saw Paula's films as I look at things from a total different angle now, and believe me, I needed that wake up call, big time, because now I give myself permission to relax and let go every now and then, without feeling guilty, and without worrying about what doesn't get done at that moment. Because, guess what?! It'll get done later.

As a Yoga Instructor, this is a wonderful film to learn about the TRUE meaning of Yoga and the Yogis.

NAKED IN ASHES will soon be playing in Tempe AZ and in Las Vegas NV.
Shot in India, it follows the path of several naga babas on their path to spirituality.
NIA opens on June 23rd in Tempe, AZ at the Harkins Valley Art Theatre.
NIA opens on June 30th in Las Vegas, NV at the Regal Village Square 18.
