Målle Lindberg is the gypsy who according to the legend,was born back on a horsewagon somewhere on the swedish countryside in 1929. He grew up to be a criminal by trade and faced God during a 2 year prisonsentence. He was soon to become Swedens by far most legendary preacherman and popstar during the sixties and seventies. He pulled crowds that was unheard of. Litterally hundreds of thousands came to his christian rock´roll circus. He became infamous and loved by the tabloids. He was very popular amongst the women and made loads of money which tended to dissapear as the taxmen appeared. Målle finally crashed by the possy consisting of eveningtabloids, the church and vendictive fellow colleauges. He was pointed out as a fraud and a conman. Today he is a respected evangelist who spreads the gospel, still in his own special way. Not seen as dangerous any more. He is always on tour with his big trailer and makes his living from selling own CDs and videotapes. Still there lurks a glimpse in the dark set of gypsyeyes and he still knows how to play the outsider-character. A film about belief and believes with lots of surprises..
