The most remarkle point of "In One Day" is how the character "Karen" was building up all this different feelings of betrayed, trustworthy relationships, helpless, overwhelming and it collapsed in a tragical way that we don't think about it. Better yet, we dont' say it. The other part is how this young girl continuely kept her GOAL of graduating and Her family supported her to reach her dreams and objective. I believe that this movie has a easy clear plot, straight to the point and magnetic.
-Thank you sharing your movie to the public

To date Ive only had one screening, Sept. 30th at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in Silver Spring, MD. I wanted to do something special for the cast and crew. Therefore, it was an invite of the family and friends of the "In One Day" cast & crew. It was a great time!!! A lot of feed back!!! I found out that five ladies cried during the film which made me feel even better knowing that it affected them to that extent. Its was one thing seeing it come together, its was another seeing it on a big screen.
Answer to your question: I haven't thought too much about another screening yet. My energy right now is getting out to some of the festivals coming up, as well as looking for someone in distributing that would like to work with me.
By the way thanks Saskiawb for your interest. Keep in touch!!!

“In One Day” is about the trauma one college student endures within one day’s time. The sequence of chain of events this student undergoes most could not and would not want to ever be faced with in their lifetime.
Every student’s dream is to one day have the opportunity to walk proudly down the isle for their college graduation. To be followed with pursuing a life of fortune and happiness. Unbeknownst to Karen, she is about to undergo the most horrific day of her life. She is faced with the ugly truth that she may not be able to graduate because of a discrepancy with her thesis. A hard pill to swallow when knowing she had done half the work needed for the project. This is followed by finding out that her home had been broken into and things stolen. Those who have gone through this know that its one of the most unnerving things to happen; making you feel so violated and insecure.
But it doesn’t stop there. Karen receives a phone call to find out about an unexpected pregnancy. Like all of us we turn to friends and family in times of need. Karen picks the phone up to call her best friend for solace only to find out her friend is having a very bad argument with her boyfriend which leads to a death that Karen witnesses over the phone.
Not enough? How much can one person take? Karen then reaches out to her boyfriend, who tells Karen before she has the chance to tell him the day’s events that he has no other choice but to break things off with her in order to concentrate on his studies.
If you have ever heard of the domino effect, this story matches the cliché to the “T”. The story promises to take you on an emotional ride of how ones patience, courage, and faith are taken to the limits.
