Film Description:
Synopsis
The Film runs as a continuous day in the lives of two best friends Billy and Cass. Billy is 18 years old he works full time as a supermarket checkout clerk. He is bored with the monotomy of his job, he is not particularly streetwise and has no ambition he doesn't know what he wants from life. To escape the boredom of everyday reality he has found refuge in having an affair with a thirty year old, married woman. He finds this exciting and gives him something to look forward to. He has no regard for others that are involved especially not the husband, family etc... The fact that someone relies on him is attractive to Billy and the level of risk involved keeps him interested. Cass is also 18 years old. She also works at the same supermarket as Billy. She is the Events manager of the store. She is generally more intelligent than Billy but humours him voluntarily when he confides his secret to her. The story consits of a continuous conversation between Billy and Cass about the affair which is illustrated with flashback images. Cass tries to put sense into Billy's perspective, even though she may have alternative motives.
