Film Description:
Synopsis
The Fool, a war veteran who is trying desperately in various 'episodes' to get back to living the normal life, stands in an alleyway in a small urban town. He is standing across from a beautiful red head who is waiting for someone. There is a wide gap of space between them. The red head spies the Fool, who is smoking an imaginary cigarette, blowing the 'smoke' in her direction. Of course, the Fool believes he looks extremely sophisticated and macho doing this in his army uniform. The red head, however, sees this as exceedingly strange, especially when he inhales a great amount of 'smoke' and blows it very seductively towards her. Eventually, she is too weirded out by her admirerer's apparent flirtatious ways, picks up her handbag, and walks over to the Fool, cracking through the gap of wide open space that separated them. She walks directly up to him and asks, 'What the fuck are you smoking an invisible cigarette for, ass?' Instead of offering a normal reply (or as close to normal as the Fool can get), he simply drags the cigarette on the wall to put it out, then places it behind his ear. He looks into the red head's eyes and smiles, as if asking, 'How do you like me now?' His response is the red head's back as she turns away and walks down the cobbled road. The Fool pulls the cigarette out from behind his ear and lights it with an imaginary match.
