Hamptons Film Festival, I guess? Oct 16, 2006 08:11PM
So Thursday at 2pm at the United Artist Theater in East Hampton, our film is gonna play in the Gray Matter Shorts program. If anyone needs us, we'll be burning things on the beach and watching movies. If you're at the festival, come to the movie, especially if we know you from other festivals. Oh god, we're so lonely.
So I guess we're going to show agian, if anyone's interested. Sep 01, 2006 05:24PM
Come see our film at the Hamptons Film Festival. October something till October something else. We'll post with a bit more information later. Sending the film to a few festivals was a big step. Paperwork is the death of any film. Anytime you turn your movie into a make-shift business that can't be good. (didn't bresson say the film dies on paper, even though he was speaking of the script). Thankfully people like the creators of WAB have made it quite easy to apply to a pretty specific group of film festivals. There are still a lot of great festivals that don't participate with Without a Box, and i'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Jeff Goldblum was a god, now David Holzman is.

What! Whoa! Wow! Hey,

So... We arrived yesterday and everyone's been pretty nice, except this one guy who tried steal my wallet at the airport. He wasn't so bad though, you should've seen his tactics. He went with the body graze and then the hand slip. But I caught him, don't worry.

On another note, the festival started last night, red carpet and all. It was a weird experience. Everyone (Paparazzi) thought I was Nicole Richie's boyfriend, including her. I am nursing the wound from her publicist.

Our first screening is tonight at 7:30 at the Italian Cultural Institute. We're pretty excited and hope you can come to the zoo with us. (Also we have another screening on Wed at the MAJESTIC CREST! at 9:45)

Thanks,
We're Going To The Zoo
