Film Description:
Synopsis
The movie is part of the TwistedVision project, which is a response to consumer society. This is a collaborative project with ceramic artist Shlomit Bauman. “TwistedVision #12” is an installation on which the animation is projected onto a video wall composed of 3 dimensional TV screens made of ceramics. These screens resemble surveillance monitors at security departments on malls, public buildings, etc. The projection of the movie on the screens allows for a unique interaction between the 2D and 3D spaces, on which the virtual and the real interchange roles. The movie deals with the world of hyper consumerism on which an apocalyptic vision is displayed and at the same time the visual space becomes more and more saturated with consumer “goods” up to suffocation. The movie conducts a dialog between the pixel and the 3D shape, based on an associative flow of events relating to the subject.
