Film Description:

Synopsis

The murder of a Philadelphia stockbroker and subsequent robbery of 10 million in Mexican Bearer bonds fuels the investigation by three disgraced NYPD detectives arrested in a strip club sting operation. After charges were dropped, they were stripped of their offices--eventually relegated to three chairs near the bathroom. Decorated cops: Bobby Fermin, Jimmy Bolton, and Kurt Minnis were the proverbial princes of the city after the 1999 arrest of the Fordham Rapist. Now, they need a high profile bust to restore their reputation. Enter the murder/robbery of Clayton Runnings, the less-than-solid alibi and interesting past of prime suspect Constance Hunt, and finally circumstanial evidence and you have the ingredients for a thrilling drama shot in semi-documentary style. a must see for fans of cop movies that can't wait to root for the underdogs.

The Pocono Mountains Film Festival took place last weekend (Aug 3-5) 2006. The atmosphere was great and the filmmakers were friendly and sharing information and experiences. Our film SPLITTING HAIRS was nominated for Best Orginal Film and Best Short Film ,but unfortunately we didn't win. The audience enjoyed the movie overall and complimented us on that fact. All the winners deserved to win and for me it was a learning experience for a first time filmmaker.
