Film Description:
Synopsis
Premature is a short film about a girl who struggles with what is real and what is make believe when it comes to her relationship with a guy she really likes. She takes situations and things he says and creates an ideal. When he asks her to take him to the airport, she is excited that he asked her and comes to the conclusion that taking someone to the airport is a couple-ish thing to do. She constantly over thinks every little detail of their obviously simple relationship and tries so hard to make picking him up for the airport perfect that she ends up making a pretty big glitch in the schedule. She mixes up his flight time and shows up to pick him up at 5:30 AM instead of 5:30 PM. Feeling mortified because she's sure he now thinks she's far too eager and spastic, she decides to put as strong a smile as she can muster on her face and retreat. To her surprise, the guy smiles warmly and asks her if he'll see her that night. Nothing is definite, but there seems to be something that reveals that the guy has been made aware of her deeper interests and isn't going to run from it.
