Synopsis
When a young boy heading home from Little League game sees his father take a “beat down” from a local thug, the pair enters into a secretive pact designed to hide the disturbing incident from the boy's mother.

The closest thing to a trailer for this project is from the DP's website. Even from this video you get the sense of the power of the piece and it's theme. Evidence of its great writing is there - it just seems like it's so well layered. I love it. The premise inspired me to do something similar based on my experience as a child. The project is called Fallen Hero, set to film in May 1, 2, 3 and 4. Moon, thanks so much for the inspired piece. From what I understand you've been accepted into the Sundance Writers Lab. I hope that went well. I'm a two-time finalist, and waiting to hear word for the June lab.

I decided against the whole Sundance iTunes/Netflix thing because I didn't want to get disqualified from certain film festivals. I will do internet distribution fairly soon though -- probably through Shorts International, if they'll have me.
