Film Description:
Synopsis
Out of all the gay men in Los Angeles (and sadly, he's tested out more than a few), Glenn (played by Matthew Montgomery) has finally found his soul mate -- a cute Southern boy named Adam (Windham Beacham). Their relationship started, as so many great relationships have, with the personal ads ('GWM seeks LTR'). From the moment they met, it was instant attraction. Now Glenn's in love for the first time, and it feels great. There's only one problem. Well, actually a few problems. But are they big enough to be deal-breakers, or can Glenn and Adam work through their differences? Glenn's straight friends encourage him to stick it out and make it work -- after all, everyone's happier as part of a couple, right? Meanwhile, his gay friends tell him to move on and find someone they can all like. Ultimately, only Glenn and Adam can decide what it takes to sustain a long-term relationship.

This is particularly encouraging for me because it's likely that someone from Cinemarosa saw the film when we debuted at NewFest, the New York LGBT Film Festival earlier this month and saw the crowd's positive reaction, or at least heard good feedback about it from someone who attended the festival. Because as we all know, it's not just about making a good film, it's about making a good film that people like and then having them spread the word.
Plus, this would give me an excuse to visit New York again! See you there!

For once a positive and happy ending with good-looking leading men and nobody dying from AIDS ! For years that was the theme of most gay movies, except for those about drag queens or other sordid characters. I love the guys in the lead and the story-line is totally believable. As for myself, I'm in a long-term committed and loving relationship with the same wonderful man for 28 years. I'm a Viet Nam Veteran from Louisiana and a 9/11 Ground Zero Survivor and he's an ex-Broadway dancer and hair dresser from Cuba. It can and does happen, despite the heterosexual outlook that we're all in it for a quick thrill. It works as well for LGBT as for straights, long-term, I mean, if it's the right partner. In that respect, we're all alike. I would love to see more movies like this one. It would help create a more positive outlook on LGBT human beings.
