Synopsis
Joe Willie's Friend is the story of two best friends who grow up together in a working class neighborhood and go off in two different directions. Michael goes off to the military and Darryl stays home and 'hangs out'. While Darryl is hanging out, he gets Michael's sister, Yvette, pregnant and he accidentally gets Michael's little cousin, Terence killed. Terence is Joe Willie's brother. It is the story of how these people deal with life's changes and the 'Battle For Forgiveness'. All of this takes place in 18 minutes and 36 seconds.

Thanks for visiting and I hope indeed you will be Joe Willie's Friend. It has been the fulfillment of one of my dreams to have produced and put this short film out into the world. It has gotten into thirteen festivals so far and won 3 awards. I don't know that I ever expected it to win any awards, but I'm thrilled that it has gotten into festivals.
